Lil Wayne had a unique birth he was born on September 27, 1982 in New Orleans, Lousiana.  New Orleans was a high crime area at that time and still is today.  Dwayne's father divorced his mother and left him when he was only 2. (Special Birth). http://rap.about.com/od/artists/p/LilWayne.htm   In the Summer of 1991 Lil Wayne was introduced to Bryan Williams aka Birdman a rapper and owner of Cash Money Records.  Bryan served as a mentor to young carter and helped him develop the skills he needed to succeed in the rap business.  Dwayne was soon adopted by the famous rapper Birdman and made several hits.  He was 15 when he was adopted.
